ExceLiv Capsule / Syrup


ExceLiv is an excellent Hepato-protective (Liver protecting) preparation, which helps to normalize Liver functions. Liver Live mean “life”, hence the name Liver. It is the largest internal organ of the human body. It has smooth surface & is dark brown in colour. It receives approximately 25 % of the body’s blood supply. Liver cells are called Hepatocytes. The remarkable feature of the Liver is to re-grow. Upto 75% of the organ re-grows from the remaining tissues, to its original size & shape within 2 – 3 months. Liver is involved in about 500 metabolic functions, which are essential to maintain life. Uses

ExceLiv capsules / ExceLiv syrup, help to normalize Liver functions, along with prescribed medications & therapy, in people with conditions like: 1. G.I. disorders due to : • Loss of appetite • Poor digestion • Mild constipation 2. Viral Infections - resulting from consuming unhygienic food & water 3. Drug induced Hepatitis due to use of : • Anti-TB drugs • Retroviral drugs • Statins • Chemotherapy 4. Cholestasis in pregnancy - Cholestasis is obstruction of bile flow from the Liver to the Duodenum (upper part of the small intestine). Itching is the main symptom. 5. Alcoholic Hepatitis – results from alcohol addiction. There is accumulation of fat molecules, due to which the Liver gets enlarged.

Directions For Use

ExceLiv capsules / ExceLiv syrup, should be taken at least 30 minutes before meals. As the Liver takes about 6 months to achieve normal functions, ExceLiv capsules / ExceLiv syrup, should be taken for about 6 months for better results

Dosage

Adults ExceLiv capsules 1 capsule two times daily ExceLiv syrup 2 teaspoonful (10 ml) two times daily. Children ExceLiv syrup 2 - 5 years ½ teaspoonful (2.5 ml) two times daily 6 – 12 years 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) two times daily 12 – 18 years 1 ½ teaspoonful (7.5 ml) two times daily
